About this trip
The Mangde Chhu is one of Bhutan's most remote runs. Spend two days deep in primary forest, with a wilderness camp on a quiet bend in the river. Mornings begin with mist rising off the water; nights are quiet enough to hear the trees breathe.

Day 1
Put-in and forest camp
Drive to the put-in, paddle into the gorge, and reach our wilderness camp by evening.
Day 2
The big rapids and takeout
The technical day. Run the main rapids, lunch on the river, takeout in the afternoon.
